Nicaragua Orphan — 1999
The mother of two-year-old Keylin Raquel Sandoval, despondent from deaths of her two brothers and a grandfather from Hurricane Mitch, committed suicide with prescription medicine. The doll was a gift to the little orphan from an aunt.
Among the others in the tent is a sixteen-year-old orphan boy and a 43-year-old man who lost his wife and two daughters from the hurricane.
